Product DescriptionThis compact, durable unit is the best entry-level voice recorder you will ever find. It's the exact size of a credit card and less than half an inch thick, so it slides easily into your wallet - or clips onto your keys with the included keyring. The recording quality is excellent, and easily heard on the built-in speaker. It can record for up to two hours, and supports multiple messages.
The Wilson recorders are designed specifically for the blind, so they have no display screen. That means there are no confusing menus to get hung up in - they record your voice and play it back at the touch of a button. That's it.
In keeping with that theme, you'll find just five buttons on this ultra-thin device - all located in the upper right corner of your new recording card. Positioned much like the arrows on a computer keyboard, the left button is Record, and to the right is Play. The top buttons are Volume and Skip, and the right one is Delete. That's it!
Designed for simplicity and ease of use, yet packed with digital capture technology that insures excellent recording quality, this recorder is sure to be a unit you will not be disappointed with. It comes with a one-year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty, and includes a lithium-ion battery that recharges through USB.

Remove the recorder from its leather carrying case. Place the unit on a desk in front of you, with the buttons facing up in the bottom-right corner. You'll notice the raised circular speaker grill in the top-right corner, just above the buttons.
On the right side closest to you, you'll find a sliding on-off switch. Slide the switch away from you to turn on the unit, and you should hear two quick, low beeps.
To record a message, just tap Record. You will hear one beep to indicate recording has started. You can press Record again to pause and resume the recording. When you're finished, press Play to stop and save your message. You will hear two quick beeps to indicate your message has been saved successfully.
To listen to a message, press Play. You can press Play to pause and resume playback.
To delete a message, press Play, then tap Delete twice quickly while it is playing. Take care not to record messages under three seconds in length, or they can be difficult to delete.
To adjust the volume, tap Volume. If a message is not playing, you'll hear one tone every time you tap Volume, to indicate what the volume has been changed to.
To hear the number of messages you have recorded, tap Skip.
To cycle through your messages, press and hold Skip. The recorder will start counting up from 1 (the first message). When you hear the message number you want to listen to, release Skip and it will be played.
