Mickey, a woodcutter, is visiting the tiny town of Cedar Grove, where he finds a great many tall, sweet-smelling trees. On arriving, however, he learns of a mean old giant, who's making the lives of the townspeople miserable (to say the least). Determined to rid Cedar Grove of the awful giant, Mickey sets out with a bag filled simply with a leaf, a straw, and a piece of round, white cheese.
