Pluto, the dog, adores his playful and good-natured master, Mickey. But his world is turned up-side-down when Mickey returns from his afternoon walk with a small box that says Meow. Mickey loves his new kitten ... maybe even too much. He's so busy giving Kitty a drink of milk he doesn't see old Pluto waiting thirstily at his water dish. He's tickled pink when the little kitten follows him around - never mind that Pluto's done that his whole life. But the last straw is the pile of leaves. Everyone's having a ball watching Kitty play in the fresh new pile, but they have a fit when big old Pluto decides to join the little kitten. No one seems to like Pluto anymore. Even Mickey is just too busy to even notice him. Has Mickey's best friend in the world been replaced by a sulky and disobedient cat?
For ages 4 to 8.
