Product Description

It's a sad day for Jennifer, left to rust away, month after month, in a dilapidated junk-yard. Years ago, she was a first-class touring car, travelling over a hundred thousand miles. Now, though, her only companion is a scrawny stray cat named Josephine, who loves the rickety old car. Suddenly, a long-legged fellow shows up and discovers that Jennifer's rusty old motor will still run. In half an hour, she's barreling down crowded streets and charging around hairpin turns at top speed. One calamity after another befalls the old car ... until finally Mr. Frenzy's luck runs out. Through it all, Josephine the cat sticks stubbornly to her life-long friend, Jennifer. Together, they learn a lesson about friendship no one will ever forget.

For ages 6 to 9.
