Bobby and Bonnie live with their parents in a lighthouse, surrounded by giant, crashing waves and often rocked by buffeting winds. Yet inside their cozy little house, the children are happy, playing games, keeping the light going, and making cookies with their mother. There's just one problem, and that's school. There's no way the children can get to the mainland each and every day - there's miles of churning waves to cross.
