Here is a terrific gift idea for just about anyone! In the olden days, if you bought something to play music, it came with speakers. It didn't matter whether it played cassettes, records, or the radio, it was easy to fill the kitchen with Pachelbel while you baked. Those days are gone, but it's high time digital music was that easy to share. These deluxe, folding, full-sound mini speakers can amplify music from almost any device. Plug them into the headphone jack on your Mp3 player, your friend's iPod, a CD player - even a laptop computer. Find your favorite song on the player, and turn up the volume on these speakers. That's it! The days of passing around a pair of headphones on a long car trip are over, and livening up your trampoline or pool parties just got a whole lot easier. The built-in volume control will give you the power to listen as loud or as soft as you want, yet the slimline technology lets this set of speakers go anywhere you do. The sound is awesome, and so is the size. They're convenient, they're portable, and they even come with a travel pouch. (Runs on four AAA batteries - not included.) The speaker comes with its own connecter, which will fit any standard headphone jack. The cable is located on the base in a slot, removing the battery cover may be helpful in locating it. Gently uncurl it from the speakers and plug them in! Important note: The headphone jack on our Mp3 players is the mini size, and the input jack on these speakers is the regular 1/8-inch size. Thus, an adapter is needed to plug these speakers into any of the Mp3 players we carry.
