To read the Talking Braille Watch by touch:
The watch lid opens at the 6 o'clock position, letting you determine the current time by lightly touching the hands.
The Braille markings around the dial help show exactly where the hands are pointing. When done, snap the lid back into place.
To set the hands, pull out the stem at the 3 o'clock position. Turn the stem clockwise until the correct time is reached, then press the stem back in.
Buttons:
There are four buttons around the rim of your new watch.
2 o'clock: Talk
4 o'clock: Mode
8 o'clock: Hour
10 o'clock: Minute
Setting time:
Press the Mode button once to enter the time-setting menu.
Press Hour and Minute until the correct time is spoken.
Setting alarm:
Press the Mode button twice.
Press Hour and Minute until the correct alarm time is spoken.
Setting features:
Hourly Report.
Press the Mode button three times.
Press Hour to toggle hourly report.
- One beep indicates time will be announced hourly;
- two beeps indicates clock will chime every hour from 7 AM to 9 PM;
- no beeps indicates Hourly Report is off.
Turning the alarm on and off.
Again, press the Mode button three times.
Press Minute to toggle the Alarm.
- One beep indicates the alarm is on;
- no sound indicates the alarm is off.
Normal Operation:
- Press Talk to hear the current time.
- Press Hour to toggle between 12- and 24-hour format.A beep is heard when 12-hour format is selected.
- Press Minute to hear alarm sound.
- When the alarm goes off, Press Talk to snooze for ten minutes, or press Mode to stop the Alarm.
